How to use Battlantis - Variant

Momentum doubles on the Variant: every even-numbered attack gains 30% Pierce instead of 15%. In exchange, Flashing Scythe - Variant adds only 25% against a fresh enemy, half the base form's bonus. That makes it better in long exchanges and worse at punishing switches, with the same 116 ATK either way.

It is just as fragile at 84 DEF and 84 HP, with a 4x Fire weakness. For a Steel attacker that survives longer, Lycanite - Variant is the better pick.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
