Why this tier

Gryrion - Variant holds A because in Storm its trait and signature each add 50% crit rate, and Storm Strike lets it set that weather itself. Regaffin carries the same trait on a heavier signature, and 86 HP makes the setup turn risky.

How to use Gryrion - Variant

Gryrion - Variant is a Storm crit dealer that can bring its own weather. Fast & Flurrious and its signature each add 50% crit rate while Storm is up, Storm Strike sets it and resets your switch cooldown, and Dragon Charge then costs 3 less Energy.

86 HP is fragile, and Electric and Ice deal double, so the Storm Strike turn is the risky one. Regaffin has the same trait with a five-hit signature and is the stronger finisher once someone else sets the Storm.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
