At a glance
- Why this tier
Trideer rates A only as the entry to a strong line, pairing Fortune with a hit-and-switch signature on 80 ATK. Hexdeer and Rainbowdeer above it do more, so make it an early stop.
Trideer's skills
Fixed kit always on Trideer, can't be swapped
Hits the current enemy and lowers its ATK by 1 stage, then switches out.
Its automatic attack: a Light hit every 0.9s for 9 power. That is among the quickest on the roster, and since every basic attack in the game trades power for interval at the same rate, the short gap buys extra hits rather than extra damage — which is what per-hit effects key off.
Swappable skills choose which one to equip
Hits the current enemy and heals this Lumi for 20% of its max HP.
Hits the current enemy and switches out; the Lumi coming in gains +1 ATK stage.
Hits the current enemy with an orb of light and lowers its ATK by 2 stages.
Heals every Lumi in your squad for 15% of max HP and cures all their Poison.
Hits every enemy on the field with light. Costs 3 less Energy on Electric Field.
This Lumi is knocked out; every other Lumi in your squad is fully healed and cured of status effects.
Skills marked "Used in official line-ups" are the ones the game's own in-client line-ups equip on Trideer. See those line-ups.
How to use Trideer
Trideer gives you Fortune and a squad heal from the first stage. Fortune drops the enemy's ATK 2 stages on entry, and Triprism Blast lowers it one more and switches out, so it can open a fight and leave cheaply. Healing Light is already in its pool.
80 ATK is among the lowest on the roster, and Hexdeer and Rainbowdeer do the same job with more bulk. Evolve it toward Rainbowdeer.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
