Its chaining basic attack rolls the shock chance on up to 5 enemies per swing, so the whole Electric squad hits harder. It stays at A because the shock is a 10% roll, never a guarantee.

An opening chip on every enemy's current HP, handy in Peak Palosseum against high-HP squads. A rather than S because World Boss and Guild Hunt switch it off, and Mystiray is the better Electric Mega.

Overview

Put Barkplug in the front row and it still hits like a back-liner. Overcharge leaps onto one enemy for 1768%, the largest single hit in the Electric roster, and Focused Surge's 20% extra HP keeps it standing long enough to cast again. That strong mix makes it worth a place in five of our teams, from the All-UR lineup before Evolution to Pure Electric in Peak Palosseum. Wattweiler adds a shock chance to every hit, and because its basic attack chains to 5 enemies, the shock spreads across the whole enemy front.

Outside Electric it collects no element buff and a Water or Earth tank holds the front better, so pull it from a Water hybrid rather than carry it. Voltfang, its Mega, is the weak link: the opening HP chip is switched off in World Boss and Guild Hunt, the fights where a Mega should pay off.

    Increases the Tenacity of all allies by 10%. After this battle, 30% of the severely injured enemy Armigo will die.
