Palmon Survival/Tier List

Palmon Survival Tier List

what each Palmon form adds to a squad of its own element across story waves, bosses and Peak Palosseum, on one list for the current meta. The base form, the evolved form (from Evolution I at 5 stars) and the Mega form each have their own tile; forms marked est are placed from their kit · updated 23 Sep 2026

How this tier list works

This is one list for the game as it stands now, in the Conquest Season. Every form of every Palmon has its own tile: the base form, the evolved form it becomes at Evolution I (5 stars, when its name and art change), and the Mega form where one exists. Ninjump, Bufonobi and Shadowkaeru are three placements, because a 3-star Ninjump and a finished Shadowkaeru do very different amounts for a squad.

Tiers run from S+ down to D and measure what a form adds to a squad of its own element across story waves, bosses and Peak Palosseum. Palmon from earlier seasons are judged against today's roster, not the one they launched with. The base form of a Palmon that evolves always sits at least a band under its evolved form, since you only field it until 5 stars. A buffer like Lionarch ranks high even though it deals little damage, because a Water squad loses more without it than without any single damage dealer. Forms marked est were placed from their kit and comparable Palmon rather than a direct ranking.

Each tile opens that form's own page, with its Evolution steps and costs, its skills and the reasoning behind the placement.

Every Palmon form ranked for today's meta: base (1-4 stars), evolved (from Evolution I at 5 stars) and Mega.

Top picks

All six S+ tiles are evolved Mythics: Cryovern, Prismalith, Thundermane and Pyregeist from Season 1, Shockmantis from Season 2 and Abysphira from the Conquest Season. Evolution III is where each one earns it. Cryovern's 500% burst when its freeze ends is the biggest single jump on a Water account.

Among the URs, Bufonobi and Sorceray carry Water and Electric damage, Chefeuillier is the strongest Earth front line, and Kungfury boosts Water back-liners even from the bench. Oleana, Spookaboo and Sunplume never evolve and still rank S, because their account-wide bonuses work without being deployed.

Three Mega forms reach S: Shadowkaeru, Mystiray and Leafergarde. Shadowkaeru is the one to build first on a Water account. Every 35% of HP it loses sends it into Stealth, and it comes back recasting the fan with 70% more damage. Predalynx is the lowest Mega, at B, because its traps land on random targets on a line that ranks low to begin with.

Best picks for free players

Start with Ninjump, Dolphriend, Regalion and Gnashley. All four are Water, all four arrive early, and their evolved forms (Bufonobi, Adolphonis, Lionarch and Gnashfin) rank A or better, so the stars you put in during the first week keep paying off. Take them to 5 stars one at a time, since Evolution I is where each form changes. For a first Mythic, Mammolith or Glacewing is the safer target than Thundertooth, which is slow to evolve without spending. Stop investing in SSRs after the first week: none of them evolve, and every one on this list has a UR that does its job better.

What changed in this update

The three season tabs are gone. Every form now has its own placement on one list for the current meta, so a rating always names the stage it is for. Rankings that named only a Palmon's base form, but were about mid- and late-game squads, now count for its evolved form. That moved most base URs down to B and their evolved forms up to A or S, and it left evolved Mythics holding every S+ spot.
