Even its camp role has better holders: Terrastudo's Mining bonus is 30% to its 20%. In a squad it is one 480% hit on an SR body, which Salamantis beats on every count.
Overview
Spinchilla has one attack worth the name, and the other Earth SRs have the same one. Whirling Leaves deals 480% to a single enemy, the same figure as Flouffant's, Graffitty's and Herculeaf's Rage skills, and with no Evolution and the thin SR stat line it falls behind as soon as any UR joins. Salamantis is the obvious replacement for its back-row slot, with more damage spread across 5 enemies plus an aura for every Earth ally.
Even the camp case is weaker than it looks. Lucky Klutz adds 20% ore on a Mining job, but Terrastudo's Drill Shell adds 30% on the same job, and Graffitty matches Spinchilla's bonus while covering five other jobs. Use Spinchilla for Extracting, or as a spare miner once those two are busy.
