Why this tier

Aequor moves to A, one band under Clionia: it runs the same Stream trait, and Pure Water turns every Wet into a Leech on 100 DEF. Clionia adds the squad heal, and 83 ATK means the Leech does the damage.

How to use Aequor

Already running Clionia's engine, Aequor banks a Wet whenever an ally casts through Stream, and Pure Water turns every Wet into a Leech on the enemy for 4 Energy. Its earlier form Seabud needs 2 Wet for each Leech, so this is where the line starts paying. 100 DEF and 95 HP hold up well for a middle stage.

83 ATK is low, so the Leech does the work, and it shares Clionia's weaknesses to Flying, Ice and Dark. Clionia adds a squad heal to the same combo at Lv. 35, which is where your materials should go.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
