Why this tier

Inferny ranks C, a first form with Flaming Body and Fire Vortex from the start but only 80 ATK. Level it into Inferaze for the Arena.

Inferny's skills

Fixed kit always on Inferny, can't be swapped

Trait · passiveFlaming Body

Takes no Burn damage. When hit by a skill, applies Burn to the attacker equal to the Burn stacks it carries itself.

Signature skillIgnite

Hits the current enemy and applies 1 Burn to both it and this Lumi.

FireCost 4Power 50

Basic attackCollide - Fire

Its automatic attack: a Fire hit every 0.9s for 9 power. That is among the quickest on the roster, and since every basic attack in the game trades power for interval at the same rate, the short gap buys extra hits rather than extra damage — which is what per-hit effects key off.

Swappable skills choose which one to equip

Blazing InfernoUsed in official line-ups

Hits the current enemy with fierce flames; costs 1 less Energy for each Burn stack this Lumi carries.

FireCost 7Power 110

InfectUsed in official line-ups

Spreads the current enemy's status effects to the rest of its squad.

DarkCost 6Power 60

Absorb FireUsed in official line-ups

Removes every Burn stack from this Lumi and the current enemy, healing 5% of max HP per stack removed; then cures this Lumi's Leech.

FireCost 4Power 0

Fire of Wrath

Hits the current enemy and strips its Wet; this Lumi gains 2 Burn.

FireCost 5Power 100

Clear Skies

Sets the weather to Harsh Sunlight, hits every enemy on the field and applies 1 Burn to each.

FireCost 5Power 40

Fire Vortex

Drops a Burn trap where the current enemy is standing, applying 1 Burn to any enemy Lumi that moves onto it.

FireCost 3Power 0

Skills marked "Used in official line-ups" are the ones the game's own in-client line-ups equip on Inferny. See those line-ups.

How to use Inferny

Inferny already has Flaming Body: immune to Burn and burning back anything that hits it with a skill while it carries Burn, which Ignite supplies. Fire Vortex is in its pool. 80 ATK is weak. Inferaze keeps the kit on 100 HP and lays the trap in the Arena's hazard rush team; save your materials for it.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
