Lumi Master/Lumis

At a glance
- Why this tier
Zoryx ranks B because the crit stacks from Nimble and Maple Dart take turns to build before they discount Focus Blast, on 96 ATK. A 4x Flying weakness often ends it first.

Zoryx's skills
Fixed kit always on Zoryx, can't be swapped
Throws three needles at the current enemy for 3 hits, each with a 25% chance to crit; every crit adds 1 ATK stage, and the stages land once the skill ends.
Its automatic attack: a Grass hit every 1.2s for 12 power. That is slower than most, so anything that triggers per hit rather than per point of damage fires less often here.
Swappable skills choose which one to equip
Hits the current enemy and heals this Lumi for 50% of the damage dealt.
Hits the current enemy with a ki blast. Costs 1 less Energy per positive ATK stage; afterwards this Lumi's ATK drops by 1 stage.
Usable only at a positive ATK stage. Drops this Lumi's ATK stage to 0 and gains 1 Energy for each stage removed.
Makes plants burst up under the current enemy. Costs 3 less Energy during Harsh Sunlight.
Hits the current enemy and switches out, handing this Lumi's ATK and DEF stages to the Lumi coming in.
Hits the current enemy; +20% power for each ATK stage this Lumi holds above the target.
Skills marked "Used in official line-ups" are the ones the game's own in-client line-ups equip on Zoryx. See those line-ups.
How to use Zoryx
Crits drive Zoryx. Nimble gives every attack 25% crit chance, and Maple Dart's three needles each roll 25% again, raising ATK a stage for every crit once the throw ends. Focus Blast, its line-up pick, costs 1 less per positive ATK stage, so the stages it builds pay off on the next hit. Uphill Fight grows with those stages too.
Flying hits it for 4x, and 96 ATK needs those stages to matter. Bloom hits harder in a Grass slot.

- Zoryx & CRITIn-game line-up · Harsh Sunlight crit burst

Sunbelle sets Harsh Sunlight and Zoryx cashes it in. The weather adds 20% to Grass damage, and Zoryx's Maple Dart is a Grass move: three needles that can each crit, helped by Nimble's extra 25% crit chance on every attack. Each crit raises Zoryx's ATK by a stage once the throw ends, and each stage makes Focus Blast 1 Energy cheaper. Sunbelle's Sunshine also cuts the damage your whole side takes by 15% while the sun is up and Sunbelle is still standing, bench included.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
