Battle Cry turns hits taken into Spike and Haste, which beats the starter Warrior, but his Spike still stops at Block where Rose's goes through.
Overview
Barbarian turns getting hit into Spike, and that makes him the Rare Warrior worth playing. Battle Cry has a 25% chance on each hit taken to add 1 Spike and a short Haste burst, so the harder the enemy swings, the more he hurts it back, and That's Mine! makes Big Spike easier to find in the shop. The starter Warrior's skill does nothing in a fight, so the choice between the two is easy.
His Spike damage still stops at the enemy's Block, and nothing in his kit fixes that. Rose's Impale sends Spike straight through Block and Parting Rose executes once her stacks pile up, so she does his job at a far higher level. His deeper chapter runs bring Flora for sustain, two Bloodletting Swords and a Bloody Crown.
