The Epic stand-in for White Wolf Captain, a band lower: the same 30% base Haste on every weapon, but no attacks of its own and no cost cut.

Overview

Think of Blue Wolf as White Wolf Captain's job at Epic rarity. Howl gives every weapon 30% Haste for 10 seconds when the fight starts, the same base Haste as the Captain's Shout, so a burn backpack stacks faster through the opening stretch of each fight. On an account that has the wolf but not the Captain, it is a fair stand-in, and three of its stars add more Haste.

The gap shows everywhere else. The Captain also attacks on its own, climbs to more Haste with stars and drops to 2 energy at 1 star, while Blue Wolf stays at 3 energy for good, Red Dragon's price. None of the runs on Best Loadouts uses it, and an Epic pet in a lineup with Legendary ones lowers your combat stats. Its ownership bonus, 9% Total ATK to every hero, keeps paying after the Captain takes the slot.
