Overview

Poison runs in the Venom mould are the home of Venomous Spider. Raising Spiderlings drops 12 Venomous Spider Egg Sacks into your backpack, its first star adds a Hefty Egg Sack that stays for the whole run, and its last star doubles the Poison the spiders deal. For a hero that wins by stacking Poison, that is a steady stream of it without spending gold.

The cost is backpack space. The eggs sit in cells your finished items need, and space is the budget every build fights over. Mimic's instant merges usually earn that slot more, which is why the Spider sits in the B band despite being Mythic, and even Venom's own chapter run takes Mimic, Geezer and Red Dragon instead. Its Mythic ownership bonus is the real reason to rank it: Total ATK for every hero, with a star bonus that climbs to 40%.
