Best.
Why this tier

Jellibae is a B stepping stone, getting Regenerate early on 78 ATK. Jellistel two stages up does everything it does and more, so don't invest here.

How to use Jellibae

Jellibae starts the Jellistel line with Regenerate, so it heals 20% every time it switches out. Tides is a plain 45-power hit. 78 ATK is among the lowest in the game, which makes it weak in any fight. Jellistel adds squad Wet and 106 HP to the same trait, so it is the better pick once you can evolve.

Each column is the species' own Min–Max range at its reference level — the exact spread the in-game Aptitude tab shows (an individual catch rolls somewhere inside it). See the Stat Rankings to sort the whole roster by any of these. Attack Speed is the Skill tab's Attack Interval: the seconds between automatic basic attacks, fixed per species, so lower is faster. Every basic attack deals the same damage per second, so a quicker one lands more hits rather than more damage, which is what on-hit effects care about. Each Swift stack speeds it up by 10% and each Paralysis stack slows it by 10%.
