How to use Yi Sun-shin
A cheap armour-breaker for Dragon Altar and Swiftblade, Yi Sun-shin hits harder than most 1-Gold heroes. Blood Floods deals a solid single hit and strips Hybrid DEF from the target for 10 seconds, which helps everyone hitting that target, and his Physical ATK ties for the highest at his cost.
He has middling HP for a 1-Gold hero and no shield or heal, so he lasts only as long as the front line beside him. Dragon Altar is how he keeps up: a Dragon Altar hero standing on an altar tile gets triple the ATK and HP bonus, which turns a 1-Gold body into a real threat in the early rounds.
Our Dragon Altar comp uses him as a cheap second damage body next to Wanwan, Baxia and Yin. Swiftblade partners such as Natalia, Karina and Saber make him a cheap way to reach its first tier. Two-star him early and give him an altar tile; skip the 3-Star and replace him with Suyou or a 3-Gold Swiftblade later.
