LegendaryPhoenix is a defensive pet that happens to add Burn. Flame of Justice makes your fastest weapon apply Burn on every hit, and each Burn stack on the enemy cuts its Crit Rate by 2%, up to 40%. Against the Corrupted family, whose damage comes from crits, that is the counter. One of Spark's chapter clears runs it with Mimic, and from 4 stars it also makes the enemy take more damage per Burn stack.
There is one trap. The weapon Phoenix enhances doesn't take Primal Flame's effect, so on a Primal Flame build the two work against each other, and Primal Flame is the gear weapon on nearly every hero build card we list. As a general damage pick, Red Dragon's opening 40% gives more. Rank it once Red Dragon and Mimic are in place, for the stages where enemy crits are what end your runs.

Phoenix enhances your fastest weapon, so this run gives the Thunder Dragon the lowest cooldown in the backpack and the Phoenix burn lands on it. Staggering every wand's cooldown keeps the stuns rolling, and the run still finished with coins to spare.

These enemies stack Spike, so the run builds lifesteal to outheal it, and Bloody Crown is the key piece because it steals the enemy's Spike for Rebecca. Phoenix adds burn to her fastest weapon on top of Primal Flame, and Red Dragon's opener shortens each fight.
Enhances On Fastest Weapon Hit: to inflict 1 Burn for 4 seconds. For each Burn stack on the enemy, Crit Rate decreases by 2%. (Max 40%)
