Magic Chess: GoGo/Heroes

How to use Atlas
Luck decides how good Atlas is in a given match. Normally Annihilate hits enemies around him and adds Hybrid DEF for a few seconds. If Enchanted Tales picks him as the Protagonist, the skill becomes a leap, immune to crowd control, that stuns a large area, a much stronger tool.
Enchanted Tales picks one of its two 4-Gold heroes at random each match, Atlas or Vexana, so you cannot count on the stronger version. His attack speed is near the bottom of his cost, and his Mana Cap of 80 makes him slow to cast either way.
He holds a front slot in three of our comps: Enchanted Tales / Mage as the Protagonist body, Mage + Stargazer as its only front-line tank, and Defender wall to complete six Defenders. His HP is third among 4-Gold heroes, and Defender's bonus is doubled for the first 20 seconds, so he is a sound front line even without the Protagonist role. Two-star him in any of those boards.
Synergies
Atlas counts toward these 2 synergies. Field enough members of one together and its bonus switches on.
At the start of each match one random 4-Gold Enchanted Tales hero becomes the Protagonist with an enhanced skill. Killed enemies drop Tale Fragments — up to 3 a battle, 30 overall — and each collected Fragment permanently strengthens your Enchanted Tales heroes.
Every ally gains Hybrid DEF; Defenders gain a larger share, and that extra is doubled for the first 20 seconds of the fight.
Comps with Atlas
Atlas appears in 3 of our comps. Here is the job each one gives Atlas, where they stand and what the comp hands them to wear.
On-site 4-Gold — dual Enchanted Tales/Defender; the one frontline tank the board needs — the plan is to delete the enemy before the fight develops
On-site 4-Gold — dual Enchanted Tales/Defender; the Protagonist body, a CC-immune leap-slam that stuns a cluster while his Defender tag adds team shields
On-site 4-Gold — dual Enchanted Tales/Defender; a CC-immune leap-slam stun, completing the six-Defender count
